Charlotte County Public Schools, Charlotte Technical Center & Academy, Port Charlotte, Florida

The HADP goal for the project was to meet the program needs of the school system of Charlotte County by utilizing successful design configurations implemented on recent projects elsewhere in the region. HADP Architecture was given the challenge of expanding program space to accommodate a rapidly expanding vocational and technical center to fit the needs of a growing county. The 85,000 s.f. three-story mixed-use building houses new administration, media center, sciences and dental programs.

The $40 million project will serve the needs of the County’s Vocational Education Curriculum and will provide a trained workforce to serve the growing population of Charlotte County, Florida.
