Blinn College, Brenham Campus Student Housing, Brenham, Texas

The 80,000 gsf new student housing of 300 beds, includes single and double occupancy suites and associated facilities including a day room, laundry, lounge, offices, conference room, workroom, reception area, study rooms, and building support areas. 

The new student housing, associated amenities and sitework are located on the north edge of campus on a currently undeveloped site.  The project features a large courtyard with hardscape and landscaped gathering spaces to tie together the new and existing residential communities.

Approximately 300 on-site and off-site parking spaces are included as well as a new chiller plant. At a cost of $9 million, the fast-track project was awarded March 2010. Constructed is expected to begin in July 2010 with occupancy by July 2011.
