United Distillers & Vintners, Headquarters Office Interior Architecture, Miami, FloridaThe HADP goal for the project was to capture the energy of the company in a design that promoted their product lines. HADP Architecture provided construction documents, construction administration, interior design and tenant improvements to the 8th and 9th floor of the UDV office located at the Waterford Office Complex in Miami. The UDV long-term goal is to establish a regional headquarters in North America. HADP’s responsibility is the Southeastern facility, which includes the North America regional office as well as the South America headquarters. The total facility includes 48,000 s.f. of office space detailing class “A” high tenant improvements, extensive millwork, custom carpeting and specialty lighting designs. Areas of specialty include the use of a main computer room to link not only the two floors but also the offices throughout the country, a video conference room, custom display areas of specific wood and specialty glass using computer programmed lighting for special effects, landscape furniture system for maximizing office work areas, conference rooms with cessions/data capabilities for use in training sessions, the use of an electronic sound masking system, a 300 square yard custom carpet integrated with a custom field carpet, and fabrics to create a custom public area including a reception area, lobby, and lounge. |
