University of West Georgia, Arbor View Apartments, Carrollton, Georgia

The HADP goals for the project was to work within a restricted linear site adjacent to an athletic field and provide the highest quality of on campus apartment-style living available.

Arbor View Apartments provides apartment-style housing with a total of 612 beds on campus. The project features a combination of four-bedroom/two-bath and two-bedroom/one-bath units to accommodate the varied housing preferences for the students. Building amenities include elevator access to each floor in the three buildings, laundry facilities with cable TV centrally located on each floor, as well as enclosed air-conditioned corridors. Entry is controlled by electronic card access. HADP Architecture’s extensive experience in student housing allowed the design of great living spaces for the students, while working within the cost identified by the University. HADP was awarded the project in September of 2004 and produced a design that was completed successfully in the summer of 2005, on time and under the established budget.
